Ingredients:
- 1 head cabbage, cored and shredded
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.
- Stir in uncooked rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Spread half of the shredded cabbage in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon half of the beef and rice mixture over the cabbage.
- Repeat layers with the remaining cabbage and beef mixture.
- Pour beef broth evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
