Ingredients:
- 4 thick-cut pork chops
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or white wine
- Toothpicks
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
- Use a sharp knife to cut a pocket into each pork chop, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- In a mixing bowl, combine seasoned breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each pork chop with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to pack it in.
- Secure the opening of each pork chop with toothpicks to keep the filling in place.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the stuffed pork chops on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer the browned pork chops to the prepared baking dish.
- Pour chicken broth or white wine into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until pork chops are cooked through.
- Remove toothpicks before serving.
