Yeast Rolls
On March 17, 2024 by userThere’s nothing quite like the aroma of freshly baked yeast rolls. Soft, fluffy, and utterly irresistible, these rolls are a must-have for any meal.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and beaten eggs. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball.
- Place rolls on a greased baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with butter.
