Cream Bread

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add yeast mixture, heavy cream, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the bread for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool before slicing.
