Ingredients:
- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook diced bacon until crispy. Remove bacon from skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
- Add blanched green beans to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Season beans with salt and pepper to taste.
