- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Season and Sear the Beef:

4. Combine Ingredients in Slow Cooker:
- Pour the broth and wine mixture over the beef in the slow cooker.
- Add carrot and turnip chunks to the slow cooker.
5. Slow Cook:
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
6. Adjust Seasoning:
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and black pepper if needed.
7. Serve:
- Discard the bay leaf.
- Serve the braised beef, carrots, and turnips over mashed potatoes, rice, or your preferred side.
8. Garnish:
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
